This policy explains how cookies and similar storage technologies are used on yottabit.bond. It should be read together with our privacy policy.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow a site to remember choices you have made (such as your cookie preferences) and to function correctly between page loads.
2. The cookies we use
Tidewell currently uses a small number of cookies, each with a defined purpose.
2.1 Strictly necessary
- PHPSESSID — a standard PHP session cookie that lets the contact form validate its anti-forgery token. Session-only; deleted when you close the browser.
- tw_cookie_pref_v1 — a localStorage entry (not a true cookie) that records whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies, so we do not show the banner repeatedly.
2.2 Analytics
We do not currently load any third-party analytics scripts on yottabit.bond. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated before any analytics cookies are introduced and the banner will request fresh consent.
2.3 Marketing / advertising
No advertising or remarketing cookies are placed by Tidewell. Our website does not embed Facebook Pixel, Google Ads tags, or similar trackers.
3. Managing your preferences
When you first visit the site, a banner asks whether you accept cookies or only the essential ones. Your choice is recorded by the tw_cookie_pref_v1 entry described above. A small "Cookie preferences" button at the bottom of the screen lets you change your mind at any time.
4. Browser controls
All major browsers allow you to clear cookies and to block them entirely. The location varies by browser; you'll typically find the controls under "Privacy & Security" or "Site permissions" in browser settings. Be aware that disabling all cookies will break the contact form's anti-forgery protection.
5. Updates
We may revise this policy when our cookie usage changes. The current revision date is shown at the top of the page.
6. Contact
